Jobs

Jabiru is a great place to work. Because our services are growing, we are often looking for new people to work in our programs.

Casual Program Worker

We currently have entry level employment opportunities as a Casual Program Worker at several of our services in Brisbane, Moreton Bay Region and Redlands. In this role you would be facilitating sports, art, science, cooking, music or other fun recreation and learning activities with children aged 5-12. You would be working as part of a team in a primary school setting before school, after school and all day during the school holidays. This work is ideal for:

  • uni students (great experience if you are studying to be a teacher)
  • people looking for an entry into the childcare industry
  • people who have other responsibilities and want part-time, casual work close to home
  • people who are already working part-time at the schools we are in – teacher aides, tuckshop staff, etc.

All staff need a Paid Working with Children Check.

Team Leaders and Service Managers

We are also keen to meet people with experience in school age care, who may be interested in a rewarding career with a quality provider and a unique practice philosophy and framework. The people we are looking for will bring:

  • Experience as an effective, wise and knowledgeable senior practitioner providing leadership in a school age care service.
  • Capacity to lead a thriving and vibrant staff team.
