Unless specifically advised otherwise by you in writing, your child may be photographed or interviewed for the purposes of promoting Jabiru’s programs or for purposes associated with their local Jabiru Kids program. Their picture or an interview with them could appear in local or city-wide print, radio, internet or television media. Pictures and interview material may also be used for our records, bulletin boards, albums, website, newsletters, brochures, reports, and other documents, without further request to caregivers.
Naturally we will exercise care in any published material not to denigrate any person or betray any duty of care for the child’s well-being and a child’s permission will usually be sought for pictures or interviews. Exceptions to the latter include instances of action photographs or other photographs in which spontaneity is the purpose of the picture and in which seeking permission would destroy the moment.
Our staff may, as a courtesy, attempt to locate a caregiver to gain permission to use photographic or interview material, but are not under any obligation to do so.
